A large, green-skinned fruit about the size of an apple. Flesh turns dark brown/black when ripe. Pulp both looks and tastes like chocolate pudding. they make a wonderful dessert fruit. Trees can be kept small and will bear fruits at just a few feet high. not too fussy about soil and nutrient support. Fruits best picked and eaten when fully ripe, when pulp becomes soft. ht to 2om if not pruned
